How can I upgrade the domain name I registered with you to a virtual host account?

Whether you registered your domain with us or with another registrar, the procedures are identical except for one item.

First, you probably want to go to our hosting web page that shows you all the details of each of our plans. Point your browser to our sister site at http://www.azc.com/htmls/service.html. When you have selected the plan that best fits your needs, click on the "Order" button in the left margin or go to https://secure.azc.com/db/virtualhostsignup.

Enter your domain name in the first entry box. Remember, the "www." is not part of a domain name, so, do not type that part in. On the next line select the following:

  • If the domain was registered through us here at DomainsForBeginners.com, select "This domain has been reserved through AZC.COM"
  • If the domain was not registered through us or any other AZC Network site, select "This domain has been reserved at another provider"

Please do not mark the domain as "New" if it has been registered before, whether with us or with another provider. Doing so will cause many complications and will most likely severely delay the availability of your site.

From this point on, you can continue to fill out the order form. Once the form is submitted and payment has been received, we will activate the hosting account and you will able to upload your pages to the web server.
